Nancy Pelosi Donates to Congressional Candidates Across the Country During Democratic Primaries
After recently receiving an email from Texas Tribune about Nancy Pelosi, Minority Leader of the United States House of Representatives, giving a last minute donation to Lizzie Fletcher, congressional candidate in Houston for Texas 7th Congressional District, I decided to take a look at Pelosi’s spending habits to see where else the national Democratic leader is donating during Democratic primaries.
This last minute donation comes after the DCCC came out against Laura Moser, Fletcher’s opponent for Texas 7th Congressional District, creating a pattern of establishment representatives propping up future establishment representatives.
During this Democratic primary, Pelosi has donated $89,484.69 over 20 states.
Six Democratic primary candidates out of California received donations from Pelosi; five out of New York; four out of Pennsylvania and Arizona, and three out of Texas and New Jersey.
